Two football players with local ties are playing in the Arena Football League Championship game.

Isiah Scott of Hubbard and Darien Townsend of Youngstown (Valley Christian) are members of the Albany Firebirds.

Townsend has 23 receptions for 293 yards and four touchdowns while Scott has 7 receptions for 130 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The AFL Championship game is Friday.
