The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a second fatal plane crash in Northeast Ohio.
Troopers say a single-engine plane crashed Sunday evening east of the runway of Germack Airport in Harpersfield Township, Ashtabula County.
The pilot, 75-year-old John D. Williams of Geneva, died in the crash.
Just before 6 p.m., dispatchers received word of a plane crash near Mini Ranch Trail south of Clay Street.
The Federal Aviation Administration is looking for the cause of the crash.
Two days before, a two-engine plane crashed near the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport killing all three people on board.
