The Browns and wide receiver Amari Cooper agreed to restructure the final year of his five-year deal, according to reports.

Cooper did not get a contract extension, but will receive a $5 million raise.

Cleveland will also guarantee the $20 million Cooper has left on the final year of his contract.

The agreement allows the two sides to avoid a contract dispute. The veteran wide receiver skipped mandatory minicamp in June.

He originally signed a five-year, $100 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys in 2020.

Browns veteran players were due to report for training camp Tuesday and according to reports, Cooper was in attendance.
