The Sharon Waterfire Festival is almost here with the festivities kicking off Saturday, July 27. Here's everything you need to know before you go.
The festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and will last until 11:00 p.m. This year's fest will consist of vendors, a food court, a children's fun zone, a blessing of the Shenango River courtesy of Native American Leon Briggs, a fire show courtesy of Jimmy Pyro and of course plenty of live music on the main stage.

The artisan marketplace will also be open the entirety of the festival and will feature plenty of one-of-a-kind pieces like jewelry, pottery, woodwork, glass and fiber art, paintings, photography and more.
The children's fun zone is located at the corner of Shenango Avenue and State Street and will be open from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and will feature interactive projects, crafts, games, giant Legos, a music wall, robotics and more.
There will also be a showcase of the Sharon School District's Tiger Techs robotics team from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The blessing of the river will take place at 8:30 p.m. followed by the lighting of the Waterfire globe and 55 floating bonfires at 9:00 p.m.
