Woman accused of stabbing Youngstown man claiming she was trying to 'kill the antichrist'

A woman has been arrested in Youngstown after police say she stabbed a man in a home while claiming she was trying to "kill the antichrist."
According to the police report, officers were called to a home on East Dennick Avenue on Friday, July 26 just before 10:00 a.m. in reference to a stabbing.
When they got there, police found the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Cielito Matos with blood all over her hands being held by the victim. Police described the scene to be "chaotic at best" observing a broken window and glass and blood on the front porch.
Police were able to quickly detain Matos and speak with the victim. Offices observed "bloody and fresh" stab wounds on the victim's left rib area and hand.
The victim told police he and his wife were both sleeping in the basement when they heard a crash from upstairs. Police say the two went upstairs to find Mato in the living room with a knife saying she was going to "kill the antichrist."
Police say after she said this, Mato started stabbing the victim, but the victim's wife was able to push her away. The neighbors were soon told to call police.
After the victim was taken to the hospital, police spoke with his wife, who showed officers the knife used in the incident and said Mato threatened to kill her too.
She also told police this was not the first time Mato entered the home, as she had also done so just days prior to the attack claiming she was looking for her boyfriend.
Police say the couple didn't call the police at the time because she was their neighbor and they didn't think she would come back.
Police also spoke to Mato's boyfriend who told officers she had been institutionalized in the past and that her mental state had been "slipping" recently.
Mato is currently in the Mahoning County Jail where she is charged with one count of aggravated burglary. She's set to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
