Many people explain they keep coming back to the fair year after year, so they can support the 4-H kids and teens, their hard work and dedication.
"I love the sense of the small-town community, and coming back in support. I was actually in 4-H my whole life, so I just love coming back to support other 4-H kids, plus I have to come back and get a milkshake obviously," Whitney Jones said.
Over 7-thousand shakes are expected to be sold and served by the Columbiana Buckeye Dairy Boosters.
They cost $4.00 for 20 ounces.
The favorite for many people is the purple cow or black raspberry flavor.
"We started out just a little dip on the cone, that's 35 years ago. Now we're big-time milkshakes that bring you in," Chairwoman of the Ice Cream Bar Lana Lowmiller said.
Fair rides will be up and running Tuesday starting one, all at an affordable price that includes rides.
"Tomorrow through Sunday ticket prices at the gate are $10.00, which do include rides. They start up at 1:00 p.m. There is a break between 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and they end around 10:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m., said Fair Secretary Michelle Crawford.
Crawford tells 21 News the fair is like a big family reunion.
