A second suspect charged in connection with a murder on Warren’s Northwest Side has pleaded "not guilty".

Nineteen-year-old Donavan Adams of Warren appeared for video arraignment Tuesday in Warren Municipal Court on charges of complicity to commit felonious assault, robbery, and tampering with evidence.

The charges were filed by detectives investigating the April 9 shooting of 35-year-old Howard Dorsey at a home along Lover’s Lane near Northwest Blvd. Dorsey was taken to the hospital where he died.

Nineteen-year-old Kyair Kyser of Warren has been jailed on a $1 million bond since his arrest on July 22.  Kyser has pleaded "not guilty" to charges of aggravated murder and robbery.

A caller told dispatchers she saw two people run out of a house after shots were fired.

Dorsey was found in the dining room, lying near a handgun on the floor.

Because of Adams' previous criminal record, he remains in the Trumbull County Jail without bond. He is scheduled for another court hearing next week.

Another court hearing for Kyser is set for July 31.
