Greenville man sentenced to more than six years in prison for gun charges
Devon Smith, 26, was sentenced for an illegal possession of two guns and ammunition after having been convicted of drug trafficking and aggravated assault crimes in 2020.

GREENVILLE, Pa. - A man from Greenville got a sentence of six years following his conviction over gun charges.
Devon Smith, 26, was sentenced for an illegal possession of two guns and ammunition after having been convicted of drug trafficking and aggravated assault crimes in 2020 as well as several other crimes through earlier state prosecutions.
Smith was on parole for the drug trafficking and aggravated assault convictions at the time of his 2021 offence, according to court records.
Federal law prohibits possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon.
Smith also got two years of supervised release.
