Two rabies clinics coming to Mahoning Valley in August

Owners of dogs, cats and ferrets looking to get their puts up to date on their rabies shots for cheap are in luck.
Mahoning County Public Health will be hosting two rabies vaccination clinics in August.
The first will be held Sunday, August 4 at Angels for Animals in Canfield between 10 a.m. 1 p.m. Enter door C for the veterinary hospital.
On August 8, the clinic will be held at Woodworth Park in Warren between 12 p.m. 2:30 p.m.
The cost to get a shot is $8 in cash only, according to a news release from the organization.
No physical examination is required of the animal, however the clinic does reserve the right to not vaccinate any animal if its in poor health.
Proof of prior vaccination is required for a three-year booster.
No appointment will be necessary for these events.
In Mahoning County, rabies vaccinations are required for all dogs, cats and ferrets over three months of age.
