YOUNGSTOWN - The Youngstown Fire Department spent much of Friday morning battling stubborn flames at a house on the city’s Southside.

Dispatchers got a call about a burning home on the 300 block of Carroll Street between Hillman and Edwards Streets shortly before 12:30 a.m.

Firefighters put out flames at the vacant two-story home, only to be called out again after 3 a.m. when the fire started again.

Investigators, who are looking for the cause of the fire, say no one was injured.
