BOARDMAN, Ohio - After severe weather rolled through the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys Tuesday night, there were numerous reports of damage including trees and wires down.

One of the trees fell onto a home on Forestridge Drive in Boardman, narrowly missing the owner who was working on home improvements at the time.

The home owner said he was painting his master bathroom when got the storm warnings.

Just seconds later, he heard a tree from his neighbor's yard come crashing into the master bedroom.

"I heard a real loud bang and I thought lightning hit the house," Shawn Cozad said. "The house was shaking. I came running out of the bathroom and went into the master bedroom and saw the ceiling pushed down by the tree."

Cozad said his father and pet dog were also in the house when the tree fell on it.

No one was hurt.
