WARREN, Ohio - The Trumbull County Coroner has released the identity of the man killed in a house fire in Warren over the weekend.

Trumbull County Coroner Lawrence D'Amico identified the victim as 72-year-old Darrell Manson. His cause of death was determined to be thermal injury complicated by serious medical problems.

Manson died in the hospital.

The fire happened Sunday, August 4 at a home on the 1700 Block of Victoria Street around 3:00 p.m.

Warren Fire Chief Ken Nussle told 21 News the fire did not appear to be suspicious and was mostly contained to the living room area of the home where it originated.

Nussle said the home suffered an estimated loss of $20,000 in damages.
