YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted a man in connection with a homicide on Youngstown's east side back in June.

Twenty-two-year-old Samuel Perez was indicted on two counts of aggravated murder, one count of murder and one count of aggravated robbery, all with firearm specifications. He was also indicted on one count of possession of cocaine.

The charges stem from the shooting death of 22-year-old Angel Sostre. Police say the homicide happened around 2:30 a.m. and Sostre's body was found around 5:30 a.m. on the 600 Block of McBride Street.

Perez was arrested in July on Berkley Avenue in connection with the cocaine possession charge. Police say he was also a person of interest in Sostre's death. Charges were filed against him in connection with the homicide following an interrogation.
