YOUNGSTOWN - If you've ever had a late-night craving for a sweet treat, you know the dilemma. Bakeries tend to open early, and most grocery stores aren't open past 9 or 10 at night.

But a cookie chain coming to Youngstown is putting an end to that struggle.

Insomnia Cookies can be found in many college towns and downtown areas across the country, and will soon open up shop on YSU's campus as well.

The store will be housed along Lincoln Avenue near Jimmy John's Sub Shop. The opening date and exact hours have not been announced yet, but Insomnia shops are typically open from early afternoon to 1 a.m. on weekdays and until 3 a.m. on weekends.

Cookies are available for pick up or delivery. Insomnia offers classics like chocolate chip and sugar cookies, but also rotates through more adventurous flavors like matcha and churro cheesecake. The bakery also offers brownies, ice cream, and other options.

Job postings for the new Youngstown location are listed on Insomnia's website.
