Warren house fire injures one, kills family pet on city's west side
The fire remains under investigation. The preliminary investigation is looking at a burning candle as the possible cause of the blaze.

Warren Fire Department was called out to a house fire in the 2200 block of Stewart Drive Wednesday morning that sent one person to the hospital and killed a family pet.
The fire alert came in at 9:30 am, and Warren Fire Department House Captain Mike Loftus told 21 News that the homeowner was taken to the hospital with possible burns. A dog inside the residence was killed in the fire.
The fire remains under investigation. The preliminary investigation is looking at a burning candle inside the home as the possible cause of the blaze.
A neighbor's siding was also damaged by the fire.
