Non-profit expands to support Warren families, veterans

WARREN, Ohio -
A local non-profit is expanding its mission to help those in need in Warren.
Bess Purpose has been serving people in Mahoning County and now has a new location in Warren on Highland Avenue.
The organization helps people with basic necessities such as educational support, housing, employment assistance, veteran services and vocational support.
The owner says she hopes to decrease homelessness and empower more families throughout the Valley.
"You see a lot of homeless families, not just homeless men and women," Rita Tate, President of Bess Purpose Inc., said. "You see a lot of families and I just want to be a beacon in the community to help impoverished families."
Applications for their services are available right now. If you need help, you can email Bess Purpose at besspurpose320@gmail.com or call 330-299-7000.
