Warren man pleads guilty to involvement in fatal overdose of Canfield mother of two

CANFIELD, Ohio - A Warren man has pled guilty to his involvement in the fatal overdose of a mother of two in Canfield.
Court employees tell 21 News 40-year-old Anthony Harris pled guilty to one count of attempted reckless homicide in connection with the overdose death of a 32-year-old Canfield woman.
Harris is one of two people to be secretly indicted in connection with the woman's death with the second being Alan Hunt Jr. According to court records, Hunt died before he could enter a plea or go on trial.
Harris and Hunt were accused of providing the woman pills in February of 2022. The woman died in the hospital three days later and her cause of death was determined to be an overdose.
Harris is set to be sentenced Monday, August 19 at 9:30 a.m.
