Liberty Police cancel alert for missing man found 200 miles away from home

Authorities in Liberty Township have canceled an alert for a missing man with dementia.

LIBERTY TWP, Ohio - Liberty Township police have canceled an alert for a missing man with dementia who was found 200 miles away from home.

Edward McKenzie, 87, was reported missing at 11:30 a.m. Monday and according to police, he is prone to getting lost because of his condition.

The alert was canceled before 2 a.m. Tuesday after authorities in Morrow County found McKenzie driving in Morrow County between Columbus and Cincinnati.
