CANFIELD, Ohio - We're exactly one week away from the 178th Canfield Fair, which is sure to give the Mahoning Valley something to crow about, but it can also make you some money.

The Canfield Fair is hiring for multiple positions including ticket takers, exit staff, parking attendants, ushers, and maintenance workers.

George Roman, director of entertainment for the Canfield Fair, says the pay rate for parking attendants will be $125 daily. Ushers and maintenance workers will be paid $10.10 hourly. 

A spokesperson for the Canfield Fair tells 21 News between 300,000 and 400,000 people are expected to pass through the entry gates over the course of the fair this year, so the fair can use all the help it can get.

Applications for these positions are accepted in person only at the Canfield Fair Administration Building Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

No applications will be taken over the phone.

The fair will run from Wednesday, August 28 through Monday, September 2.
