Police say a 47-year-old man drove two hours to Salem hoping to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex but ended up in jail instead.

Jonathan Collins of Norwalk, Ohio was arrested in Salem on Thursday by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

An undercover agent posing as a 15-year-old girl said Collins offered to meet in Salem to have sex in exchange for $160.

Police say Collins also asked to record videos of the teen engaged in sex.

After Collins made the 110-mile drive, he was arrested in Salem on five felony charges including compelling prostitution and importuning for allegedly soliciting sex.

Collins was taken to the county jail and his car was towed to an impound lot.

During his video arraignment on Friday, Collins did not enter a plea to the charges.

His bond was set at $20,000 with the condition that he have no contact with minors.
