Youngstown Business Incubator announces companies for Shark Tank pitch competition
Five businesses will pitch the the YBI's sharks.
The Youngstown Business Incubator's Shark Tank Pitch competition just a few months away and we now know the businesses being featured this time around.
Five businesses will pitch the the YBI's sharks. They include:
- A Fresh Wind Catering: A woman and minority owned businesses located in the Commonwealth Kitchen Incubator in Youngstown.
- ARMA: A company that created a custom fit glove designed to eliminate sweat, kill 99.9% of germs upon contact and withstand washing with soap and water for prolonged use. It's aimed at athletes, food service workers and medical professionals.
- GeoFlow AI: An AI platform that continuously updates trillions of organizational facts and relationships sourced from "billions of websites."
- Spokbee: A Cleveland-based developer whose product uses AI to help manufacturers configure and sell engineered products online.
- Yo!Crash: A mobile rage room dedicated to the safe and purposeful destruction of objects to help release aggression in a fun and safe environment.
These companies will compete for a prize pool starting at $30,000. This will increase if YBI's sponsorship drive attains $350,000 and $55,000 should it pass $400,000 in sponsorships.
The fifth annual Shark Tank event will happen on October 24 at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
