Hermitage man indicted for serious truck crash in Niles
Both Hicks and a 30-year-old Kinsman man who had been his passenger were ejected from the truck.

A Hermitage man faces criminal charges filed in connection with a drunk driving crash that resulted in him and a passenger being thrown from a pickup truck.
The Trumbull County Grand Jury has indicted 31-year-old Matthew Hicks on charges of OVI and aggravated vehicular assault.
Police say Hicks was driving too fast along North Road after midnight on May 25 when his truck crossed North Main Street into a home’s front yard, where the truck was pinned between two trees.
Both Hicks and a 30-year-old Kinsman man who had been his passenger were ejected from the truck. Both were hospitalized with serious injuries.
According to a police report, Hicks had a blood alcohol level of point 169.
