WARREN, Ohio - The National Packard Museum has announced the completion of three capital improvement and enhancement projects made possible thanks in part to ARP funds provided by the City of Warren.

One project consisted of the installation of a new asphalt shingle roof in November of 2023. This new roof replaced a 25-year-old roof installed on the museums original wing in 1998.

The project costed $42,750.

Another project consisted of new and improved landscaping along the museum's north parking lot entrance. This project was completed in June of 2024 and costed $8,134.

The third and final project was for a new digital sign facing Mahoning Avenue. This project costed $36,175.

In a press release, the museum thanked Warren Mayor Doug Franklin, as well as Safety Services Director Eddie Colbert, Auditor Vince Flask and Second Ward Councilman Andrew Herman for their support of these projects.

"These projects through the American Rescue Plan Act enabled important improvements to be made for the future of the museum while economically supporting local businesses," the release reads.
