Canfield Fair introduces new kiosks to purchase wristbands for rides

The Canfield Fair is officially in full swing, and it wouldn't be the fair without the iconic rides. Starting this year, the way fairgoers purchase wristbands and tickets to go on those rides will be a little different.
A marketing representative for the fair tells 21 News this year, fairgoers will purchase tickets and wristbands for rides through kiosks installed throughout the amusement area. The kiosks will be manned at all times.
The kiosks accept cash, credit and debit cards and will charge a $2 service fee regardless of which payment method you use.
A representative for the fair tells 21 News the fee goes to the company that provides the rides and kiosks to the fair in order to keep its equipment and technology up to date.
While fairgoers are no longer able to buy wristbands online this year, fairgoers can purchase wristbands online for future fairs to avoid the kiosk fees. They will still be charged a credit card processing fee.
According to the Canfield Fair's website, individual ride ticket prices are posted at the ticket booth windows in the amusement area. The number of tickets required for each ride vary.
You can also purchase all-day ride passes in the form of wristbands. These will cost $25 Wednesday and Thursday and $30 Friday through Monday.
