Grove City celebrates 30 years of operation by announcing new store openings
The outlet mall is marking their milestone anniversary with a 'sale-a-bration' event., complete with a champagne toast to kick off Saturday's festivities.
When it first opened in 1994, the grove city premium outlets became the first large scale outlet shopping center in the region, and a popular destination for local and visiting shoppers.
30 years later, the outlet mall is marking their milestone anniversary with a 'sale-a-bration' event., complete with a champagne toast to kick off Saturday's festivities.
"The big highlight is going to be tomorrow, Saturday from 11 to 1," MICHELE CZERWINSKI, Director of Marketing & Business Development, said. "We are giving away goodie bags to the first 300 people who come."
Shoppers who receive those gift bags can expect to find a number of freebies and coupons inside. A small number of those bags will also have a gift card inside, valued between $15 and $100.
Despite the continuing popularity of online shopping, the Grove City Premium Outlets are seeing shoppers in store, in full force.
"Our shoppers are different than regular mall shoppers," Czerwinski said. "They shop for the love of shopping, they just love to treasure hunt, our shopper loves a bargain."
Czerwinski added, listening to popular demand helps keep the experience fresh, and shoppers coming back.
"We have opened ten new stores this year, which is very excited," she said.
