BOARDMAN & CANFIELD, Ohio - The Canfield Fair is always something to crow about, but this Labor Day, some new mothers in Boardman had much more to crow about.

The Canfield Fair worked alongside the maternity ward at Mercy Health's Saint Elizabeth's Boardman campus to provide rooster onesies to every baby born in the Boardman hospital on Labor Day.

"Since the Canfield Fair ends each year on Labor Day, we thought it would be a fun homage to the Canfield Fair and all of the mothers who 'labored' on Labor Day," said Canfield Fair Board President Dave Mannion.

A total of seven babies were born at Saint Elizabeth's Boardman campus on Labor Day. You can take a look at those babies wearing their rooster onesies in the pictures above.
