COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - Over 2,400 customers in Columbiana County are without power following severe weather Friday night.

FirstEnergy, which serves northern Columbiana County is reporting 1,527 outages as of this writing, with the most affected community being Middleton Township with 1,121 customers affected.

Elk Run Township is also reporting 93 outages, Madison Township is reporting 73 and Wayne Township is reporting 69.

AEP Ohio, who serves the southern part of the county is reporting another 891 outages there. Most of these appear to be in the West Point area with 539 outages reported there.

Other outages have been reported in multiple sections of the Calcutta and East Liverpool areas.

Most of the affected communities in Northern Columbiana County can expect power to be restored between 9 and 9:30 p.m. Friday. Customers in Southern Columbiana County should expect to see their power restored between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Mahoning and Trumbull County appear to be experiencing little to no power disruptions at this time.
