YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police are accusing a woman of pointing a gun at her sister's head and firing shots into the air at a bar Monday night.

According to a police report, officers received reports of gunfire at a bar on Glenwood Avenue shortly after 9:00 p.m. Monday night.

When they got there, police spoke with the victim who told officers she her sister were arguing in the parking lot when her sister pulled out a gun and pointed it at her head.

Police say after some more fighting, the suspect fired multiple shots into the air followed by multiple bystanders stepping in to wrestle the gun out of her hands and throw it into the woods.

Police could not find the gun, but did find two shell casings near the victim's car.

The suspect's sister told police she did not want to press any charges against her for the fight. However, police still placed her under arrest for felonious assault.

According to the report, the woman was taken to the hospital and became "physically combative" with officers. The report states a charge of assault was filed, but Youngstown Municipal Court told 21 News they did not have any records of this charge at this time.
