Statewide Amber Alert issued for child in Columbus area
Police in Licking county, near Columbus, have issued a statewide Amber Alert for a child believed to have been taken by their father.
Newark police are asking the public to be on the look out for Lux Tiwari, a new born child with brown eyes and hair.
She was taken by her father, who does not have custody of the child. Authorities believe he took Lux in a 2006 Silver Honda Pilot with the license plate number KHE7597, according to the alert.
Additionally, there is damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
The infant was last scene wearing a red flannel dress and white tights, while the suspect was wearing a blue Batman shirt, red and black shorts and white crocs.
Call or dial 911 if you see the child, the suspect or the vehicle. You can also call 1-877-AMBER-OH (1-877-262-3764) or 911 to be transferred directly to the investigating law enforcement agency or to hear the alert information.
