The Mercer County Emergency Management Agency was dispatched to the scene of an accident involving a car and a truck carrying barrels of a flammable liquid on Interstate 80.

The call came in at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday that the rollover crash occurred along the westbound lanes of I-80 in Lackawannock Township about four miles west of the Mercer Interchange.

The truck and the car were both heavily damaged.

One westbound lane was temporarily shut down but has since reopened.

Hazmat was contacted in case the crash caused any leaks. However, first responders say there were no leaks.

According to Mercer Dispatch, there were no serious injuries.
