'Mine's bigger': Boardman neighbors grab guns during argument over bicycle
An argument between two Boardman neighbors over a bicycle had to be de-escalated by police after both men came out of their homes with guns.
Officers answered a report that neighbors carrying firearms were arguing on the 5900 block of Applecrest Drive Friday evening.
One man claims a bicycle his child had left next door was thrown back into his yard by his neighbor.
One of the men came out of his house and confronted the neighbor, lifting his shirt to show a gun and allegedly saying, “Take another step over here,”
The other neighbor allegedly said “Mine’s bigger mother f---er,” waiving an AR15 rifle that he brought out of his house.
That’s when the police were called to defuse the situation.
One of the men admitted to drinking six beers before the confrontation.
Police said in their report that since both men were telling different stories, no charges were filed.
