Youngstown man accused of trafficking teen for sex

YOUNGSTOWN - A Youngstown man who’s already in prison is now accused of giving a teenage girl drugs and trafficking her for sex.
The Mahoning County Grand Jury handed up a nine-count indictment charging 24-year-old Nicholas Felder with rape, sex trafficking, compelling prostitution, commercial exploitation of a minor, corrupting another with drugs, and assault.
According to the indictment, beginning in April of last year, Felder gave drugs to a 16-year-old girl and forced her to have sex with him.
Investigators with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force say Felder advertised the girl for sex on several escort websites. The indictment says the ads included an image of a minor
He is also accused of arranging meetups between the teen and adult males in which he forced her to have sex and kept the proceeds for himself.
The indictment says the crimes occurred over three months.
Felder was convicted of receiving stolen property and a weapons violation and is currently serving a one-and-a-half-year sentence in a state prison.
