YOUNGSTOWN - A name that’s become synonymous with fine dining in the Valley now embellishes Youngstown’s newest restaurant.

Mark and Melissa Canzonetta have announced the grand opening of Casa Di Canzonetta, downtown at 44 East Federal Street.

The couple says after four months of work, the new culinary destination will embody the rich flavors and traditions of Italian cuisine.

"I want to take a moment to thank my family, beautiful wife Melissa, our children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins for their unwavering support, love, and guidance," said Mark Canzonetta.

Casa Di Canzonetta’s menu will feature dishes inspired by traditional Italian recipes and modern culinary techniques, according to Canzonetta.

Canzonetta most recently operated Bistro 1907 at the same downtown locationuntil the May 8 explosion of the nearby Realty Building, which shut down the restaurant and other nearby businesses.

The opening was delayed by demolition work on the remnants of the Realty Building and subsequent cleanup.

 "Youngstown is ready for some good news and even better food. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests at the new Casa Di Canzonetta," said Mark.
