PennDOT hosting job fair event for winter maintenance positions

Pennsylvania - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is getting ready for the winter season.

On Wednesday, October 9, PennDOT district 11 is hosting a job fair in Allegheny County for their winter maintenance program. Those interested can learn more about available maintenance position the department offers for the winter maintenance program in the county.

The hiring event will be held at the PA CareerLink Pittsburgh Monroeville Office at 300 Penn Center Boulevard, Suite 800 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Available positions in Allegheny County include season commercial driver's license (CDL) operators, full-time permanent diesel mechanics, full-time permanent and seasonal tunnel maintainers, and civil engineer trainees.

Commonwealth recruitment staff will be on-hand to discuss current winter maintenance openings in Allegheny County, and on-site application completion, on-spot-interviews and conditional job offers are possible.
