21 News is working to learn more about a heavy police presence at a housing complex in Warren overnight.

Social media posts show several police cruisers and an ambulance along Benton St. SE in the Fairview Gardens neighborhood after 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

A police report from Warren PD reveals the presence was due to a report of shots fired on the 1900 Block of Benton Street SE. 

It is unclear if anyone was hit by the gunfire in this incident.
