YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The retrial of a man accused in the cold case murder of an Alliance teen has been delayed even further.

Employees at Judge Maureen Sweeney's court told 21 News the trial of 54-year-old Robert Moore was continued until January 13 just one day after jury selection got underway.

However, court employees say a mistrial has not been declared at this time.

Moore's trial has faced several delays and multiple mistrials for various reasons.

The first mistrial happened when a jury found Moore not guilty of aggravated murder, but could not reach a verdict on the charge of murder alone. A second mistrial was declared due to a family emergency involving an attorney and a third was declared due to juror misconduct.

The reason for this continuance is unknown at this time. There will be a January 8 pretrial hearing prior to the jury trial date.

Moore is accused of killing Glenna Jean White after she went missing in 2009. White's body was never found, but prosecutors point to evidence that she was at Moore's house with the two leaving together just before her disappearance.
