A Youngstown man is awaiting arraignment after being arrested on child sex charges.

U.S. Marshals arrested 25-year-old Malachi Woodall on several charges including four counts of rape, two counts of gross sexual imposition and two counts of disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile.

The circumstances leading up to Woodall's alleged actions are unclear at this time, but jail records say the alleged victim was less than 13 years old.

A secret indictment was filed October 3 and Woodall was booked into the Mahoning County Jail Tuesday, October 8.

Woodall is scheduled to be arraigned October 16.
