Mahoning Valley & U.S. - Folks in Florida were hit hard by two hurricanes in less than a month and crews with SERVPRO are down in the gulf coast helping those affected by the devastation.

Crews with SERVPRO in the Mahoning Valley are in Florida working on mitigation and stabilization work on homes and businesses that were damaged in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.

With Milton just striking Wednesday night, there are several road closures and a great deal of storm damage. Crews with SERVPRO are now assessing those damages and from there will start working on stabilizing and restoring the affected properties.

Katie Dobson, who owns the SERVPRO facilities in the Mahoning Valley tells 21 News while it is overwhelming and heavy to see the damages from the storms, her crews are hard at work doing what they do best.

"This is what we're built for. Our team is super positive and they're the hardest workers ever," Dobson said.
