DALLAS - Attorneys for Steward Health Care say they have resolved objections to transferring Trumbull Regional Medical Center and Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital to a new owner.

Just days after Insight Medical Group was named as the designated operator for the two hospitals in Trumbull County, a notice of limited objection was filed by a medical technology company.

Becton Dickinson & Company and its subsidiary CareFusion Solutions LLC filed the limited objection last week, arguing that Steward had failed to pay them for leased equipment.

A Revised Proposed Order filed earlier this week in bankruptcy court said the issue has been resolved.

Under terms of the revised proposal, Becton Dickinson, Steward, and Insight will continue working on an agreement regarding the leased equipment. Insight wouldn’t be responsible for the cost of removing the equipment if no agreement is released.

Insight would be able to negotiate an agreement concerning the equipment.

Steward also agreed to pay Becton Dickinson nearly $46,000 as part of the revised proposal.
