SHARON, Pa. - FBI agents are back at the Shenango River in Sharon Wednesday morning for a second day of an investigation.

This follows an investigation at the river Tuesday afternoon.

A representative for the FBI in Pittsburgh still would not comment on what exactly is being investigated, but did tell 21 News there is still no immediate threat to the public at this time.

Agents were once again searching the river in boats. Other agents appeared to be looking into a wooded area. It is unclear what agents are investigating at this time.

A 21 News crew at the scene observed agents pulling something from out of the water during Tuesday's investigation, but it is unknown what this might have been.

21 News has sent a crew to the scene to gather more information on Wednesday's investigation. Stay connected online and on air for the latest updates.
