Youngstown man pleads guilty to federal firearm, drug trafficking charges

A Youngstown man pleaded guilty to federal firearm and drug trafficking crimes in front of a Western Pennsylvania District Judge.
Antoine Tate, 43, pleaded guilty to charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, and oxycodone and possession of a firearm. The charges stem from an incident on October 31, 2020.
Tate is scheduled for sentencing on March 19, 2025, where he faces a minimum of five years and up to life in prison, a fine of up to $2,250,000, or both. His sentence will be determined based on the seriousness of the offenses and Tate's prior criminal history.
The case that led to Tate's prosecution was investigated by the New Castle Police Department, Union Township Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
