The Mahoning County Grand Jury has handed up a seven-count indictment against a Youngstown man in connection with a deadly crash in the city last November.

Brandon T. Kennedy, 31, is charged with involuntary manslaughter, aggravated vehicular homicide, two counts of vehicular assault, two counts of endangering children and driving with a suspended license.

Youngstown Police Department says a car Kennedy was driving on November 17 crashed into another vehicle, killing Kennedy's 12-year-old passenger.

Investigators say Kennedy was speeding through a residential area on Youngstown's North Side and ran a stop sign at the intersection of Juanita Ave and Alameda Ave.  Kennedy's vehicle struck another car as it passed through the intersection.

Kennedy was arrested in September.
