Brookfield Police: 'Armed and dangerous' suspect arrested at Youngstown hospital

A suspect described by Brookfield police as "armed and dangerous" is in the Trumbull County Jail for allegedly firing shots at a man in the Township.
Twenty-nine-year-old Joshua Bryant was transferred to the jail from a Youngstown hospital, where he was arrested Tuesday after showing up there to be treated for a medical issue.
Brookfield Police had been on the lookout of Bryant since Wednesday of last week when officers were called to investigate reports that shots had been fired along Wahabe Court, just off Addison Road.
A 33-year-old Pennsylvania man told police several shots were fired at his car when he drove up to a Bryant’s home. The visitor wasn’t hurt, but police say all five rounds struck his car.
The alleged victim drove away and flagged down a police officer. When the officer arrived at the home, the suspect had fled.
Bryant faces arraignment in Trumbull County Eastern District Court on charges of felonious assault, discharging a firearm near a prohibited premises, and having a weapon under a disability.
