Jackson-Milton Elementary School announced an upcoming dedication for renovated multi-purpose space for students.

In a press release given by Jackson-Milton Local Schools it was announced on November 18 that Jackson-Milton Elementary School will be dedicating its new multi-purpose space for students.

The center, dubbed "The Nest" was completed in the spring and is fitted with games, arts and crafts and a reading nook alongside its large open area.  New paint, carpeting and seating has also been installed in the space as well.

The area not only holds many different activities for students but can double as a place for events and meetings for staff to be held.  A luncheon was held for Veterans Day within The Nest.

The reimagining of the space was finished with the help of Kiwanis Club through a $5,000 donation given by the Fred Perry family.  Jackson-Milton Schools will hold a ceremony to dedicate The Nest to the Fred Perry family in the multi-purpose space on November 20 at 6 p.m.
