Mercer County Food Bank to receive grant funding for community
Mercer County Food Bank will be receiving a grant from National Fuel Gas Company Foundation to reduce food insecurity and hunger.

The Mercer County Food Bank will be receiving a grant from National Fuel Gas Company Foundation to reduce food insecurity and hunger in the area.
The National Fuel Gas Company Foundation is the charitable branch of the National Fuel Gas Company. Every year, the organization funds to four food banks from New York to Pennsylvania.
They are also partnered with chapters with American Red Cross and Code Blue along with having National Fuel employees volunteer and these nonprofits.
The four foodbanks are as follows:
- FeedMore WNY
- Second Harvest Food Bank of Western Pennsylvania
- Central Pennsylvania Food Bank
- Mercer County Food Bank
The foundation has gotten about $75,000 in grants approved to give to these food banks.
