Canfield OSP commander under investigation over allegations of misconduct on job
OSP was notified of misconduct allegations regarding Brown and has been reassigned during the investigation

Lieutenant Eric Brown, the commander of the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Canfield post, has been removed from duties during an internal investigation over alleged concerns.
OSP Sergeant Tyler S. Ross of the Public Affairs Office told 21 News that OSP was notified of misconduct allegations regarding Brown.
In a written response, Ross wrote, 'Swift action was taken, during the administrative investigation he has been relocated to an alternative work assignment.'
21 News is working to get additional information about the allegations of misconduct.
Brown was promoted on Jan 1, 2023, to the rank of lieutenant and has been with the Ohio State Patrol since 1997.
