Folks looking to get into the Christmas spirit this weekend stopped by Lanterman's Mill Saturday and Sunday for the annual Christmas at the Mill event.

The event was held Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1 and featured fire roasted chestnuts, holiday-themed craft vendors and even a visit from jolly old Saint Nick himself both days.

Guests also had the opportunity to give a gift to someone in need this holiday season by donating hats, scarves and mittens to decorate the mill's "giving tree."

Mill Manager Eric Simione tells 21 Mews thousands of people showed up for the event over the course of both days this year.

"It seems to be a very enjoyable event and an annual occurrence for many people," Simione said.

Simione says the mill has been hosting this event for over 35 years now.
