A trucker may have been a victim of Thursday morning's first real blast of winter weather.
A tractor-trailer traveling west on Interstate 80 when it jackknifed and went off the road about a mile east of Route 193 shortly before 4:30 a.m. The driver was not injured, according to a State Trooper.
A wrecker was dispatched to move the truck. The truck was off the highway, so traffic continued moving.
As the morning progressed, dispatchers in Trumbull County got more calls about vehicles sliding off the roads, especially along Route 11.
ODOT and Penndot plows and salt trucks are out on the roads.
