TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - Power has restored for most customers after over 4,000 people were without power in Trumbull County with the most prominent areas of impact being the City of Warren and Howland Township Friday afternoon.

According to FirstEnergy's outage map, 2,149 customers in Warren were without power as of 2:30 p.m. Meanwhile, an additional 1,966 customers are without power in Howland Township.

As of 3:40 p.m., that number has decreased to 20 people in Warren. There are no outages reported in Howland at this time.

FirstEnergy communications representative Lauren Siburkis tells 21 News the outages were caused by a circuit lockout. Crews are currently investigating to determine the cause of the lockout and make necessary repairs.

Power is expected to be restored for the remainder of customers by 4 p.m. Friday.
