Delaware man answers to charges of corpse abuse in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A man accused of taking photos of a dead woman at a campground in Brookfield on Saturday appeared before a judge Tuesday morning.
Francis Brennick, 56, is charged with felony abuse of a corpse and misdemeanor obstructing official business.
Brookfield police tell 21 News Brennick had been living at a campground in the 1400 block of Brookfield Road.
Police were called to the campground to investigate the death of a woman, which was determined to have been natural.
However, while there, police say they found her shirt and pants tampered with and photos of her body on Brennick's phone.
Brennick plead not guilty to the misdemeanor and did not enter a plea for the felony. He did not waive his right to speedy trial in either case.
Bond was set at $5,000 and Brennick is due back in court next week .
